Liverpool-born Bobby Campbell came through the ranks at the club to make his debut in September 1958.

<p>The midfielder then marked his second game for the Reds with a goal in a 3-1 win at Bristol City and went on to total 10 league appearances in that campaign.</p><p>He then featured 13 times during 1959-60, the season in which Bill Shankly arrived as manager.</p><p>Campbell was used just twice in 1960-61, however, and he departed Anfield in 1961.</p>
