<p>He took over from regular winger Malcolm McVean when the club played host to Lincoln City on January 25, 1896.</p><p>Although Lincoln were thrashed 6-1 and Bull was on the scoresheet, he did not keep his place in the side and McVean came back for the remaining seven matches of the season.</p>
