Gareth Taylor, Head coach - Liverpool FC
Gareth Taylor
Head coach

Gareth Taylor was appointed head coach of Liverpool FC Women in August 2025.
Taylor, who arrived as permanent successor to Matt Beard, joined the Reds having left his previous role as head coach of Manchester City Women in March.
The former Wales international spent nearly five years in charge of City, where he won two major trophies: the FA Cup in 2020 and League Cup in 2022. City also missed out on the 2023-24 Barclays Women's Super League title on goal difference only.
In total, Taylor was with City for more than a decade, having coached in their men's academy before taking over the senior women's team in May 2020.
City finished second, third, fourth and second respectively in the WSL across his four full seasons at the helm and also reached the quarter-finals...
