Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga joined Liverpool FC from Fluminense in October 2020 and is currently on loan at St Patrick's Athletic.
Pitaluga, aged 17 when he signed, had previously been named on the bench for the Brazilian side for two Serie A matches.
He was also in the Brazil squad that lifted the FIFA U17 World Cup on home soil in November 2019.
In 2021-22, Pitaluga was named on the bench for the Reds' senior team on four occasions and played regularly at U23 level.
The stopper spent time on loan with Macclesfield FC during the 2022-23 campaign and also returned to his parent club to feature in training and for the U21s.
In January 2024, Pitaluga signed a new Liverpool contract extension and headed to the Republic of Ireland ...
