U18s head coach

Simon Wiles was appointed as Liverpool U18s’ new head coach in August 2025.
He took the reins in the early phases of the 2025-26 campaign, filling a role that had previously been held by Marc Bridge-Wilkinson at the Academy.
A midfielder during his own playing days, Wiles made the transition to coaching while at Bamber Bridge FC, becoming their first-team coach in 2015.
He was subsequently promoted to assistant manager in December 2016 and served in that position for the next 18 months.
Wiles departed to join Fleetwood Town in the summer of 2018 and enjoyed a successful four-year spell as the club’s U18s coach.
