Strict protocols have been put in place to ensure that Anfield Stadium is as safe as possible for everybody present. On arrival at the stadium, please ensure you comply with the requests of our friendly stewarding team. They are there for your safety and the safety of those around you.

Stadium access

In order to speed up your entry to the stadium please arrive at the stadium at the time specified on the reverse of your ticket, allowing enough time for temperature checks and search procedures to be carried out. Anyone arriving later than their requested time will be allowed entry but may be delayed allowing others to enter at their allotted time.

We ask that you only enter the stadium via the entry point stated on your ticket.  A list of entry times can also be found here.

You must be the named person on the ticket purchased – tickets are strictly non-transferable. Given the unique circumstances, anyone entering the Stadium with an adult or senior ticket should carry photographic ID which matches your ticket to support NHS track and trace and in case of any issues on the day.

NFC mobile tickets

We will be using NFC mobile tickets to manage access and understand who is in the stadium. This means you’ll be able to access the stadium on matchday using an electronic ticket on your smart phone, instead of a physical ticket or card.

Once you have purchased your ticket, you will need to go into the Tickets Section in My Account within the Ticketing System on your mobile phone, select your ticket and click to download the NFC pass. A full guide on how to complete this process and use the pass can be found here. Tickets are non-transferrable and cannot be forwarded on to another mobile phone.

Access points

In order to safely control the flow of fans around the ground, we will be introducing designated access points for all supporters on matchday. Please ensure that you are only entering the stadium via the entry point stated on your NFC pass in order to minimise the risk to public health and fellow supporters.

Supporters with tickets for the Kop should enter via turnstiles A & B via Paisley Square next to the club shop entrance or via turnstiles E & F via Flagpole corner next to the Sir Kenny Dalglish entrance on Walton Breck Road, details are on the reverse of your NFC pass.

Staggered entry times

There will also be three staggered entry times for General Admission supporters, starting from 90 minutes before kick-off. If you’re a hospitality ticket holder, entry times will start from three hours prior to kick-off. Please only arrive at the stadium at the time specified on your NFC pass. Anyone arriving later than their requested time will be allowed entry but may be delayed while others enter at their allotted time. A list of entry times can also be found here.

You will also need to bring photographic ID with you for checks at the turnstiles before entry. Entry will not be permitted if proof of ID is not provided.

Once the match ends, and following the teams end of season lap of honour, you will be escorted to the exit from your row one by one by our friendly stewarding team to comply with social distancing restrictions.

Bags are not permitted in the stadium except for purchases in the LFC superstore in the clear plastic carrier bag provided. Please be advised there are no bag storage facilities available. Please refer to the list of prohibited and non-prohibited items.

Face Coverings & Social Distancing

In order to protect yourself and others, supporters aged 11 and over must wear a face covering while on the stadium footprint queuing, on concourses, and in the LFC superstore. You may only remove your face covering whilst eating and drinking.  Please note that snoods and scarves are not considered as suitable protection from transmitting the virus.

If you are medically exempt from wearing a face covering please download (to your phone) or print the exemption badge from the UK government website here to show our stewards should they ask to see it. If you have any problems accessing this exemption badge, please contact, at least 3 days before the match, so we can help you.

Please note that unless you have an age, health or disability reason for not wearing a face covering you may not be permitted access to the stadium.

At all times, and in all parts of the ground, you must observe social distancing and avoid close contact with others not in your household or support bubble.
