Strict protocols have been put in place to ensure that Anfield Stadium is as safe as possible for everybody present. On arrival at the stadium, please ensure you comply with the requests of our friendly stewarding team. They are there for your safety and the safety of those around you.
In order to speed up your entry to the stadium please arrive at the stadium as early as possible allowing enough time for search procedures to be carried out.
You must be the named person on the ticket purchased – tickets are strictly non-transferable. Given the unique circumstances, anyone entering the Stadium with an adult or senior ticket should carry photographic ID which matches your ticket to support NHS track and trace and in case of any issues on the day.
We will be using NFC mobile tickets to manage access and understand who is in the stadium. This means you’ll be able to access the stadium on matchday using an electronic ticket on your smart phone, instead of a physical ticket or card.
Once you have purchased your ticket, you will need to go into the Tickets Section in My Account within the Ticketing System on your mobile phone, select your ticket and click to download the NFC pass. A full guide on how to complete this process and use the pass can be found here. Tickets are non-transferrable and cannot be forwarded on to another mobile phone.
For General Admission tickets at pre-season games there is a print at home option for those without NFC Passes.
No Bags are permitted in the stadium and there are no bag storage facilities available. Small bags carrying hygiene products and / or medicines or club shop bags carrying purchases from the retail store are the only exception. Those bags permitted will be subjected to a bag search on entry point.
