O’Sullivan was involved throughout the tie in Dublin, where Leanne Kiernan was part of the squad but did not play.

Liverpool captain Grace Fisk also remained on the bench for England as the Lionesses secured a 6-1 victory over Ukraine.

On Monday, meanwhile, Hannah Silcock was an unused substitute for England U23s as they beat France 1-0 in the European League.
