Gareth Taylor’s side are set to meet Sunderland, Durham and Sheffield United in Group B, on the following dates.
Liverpool v Sunderland – Wednesday September 24 (7pm BST) – St Helens Stadium
Durham v Liverpool – Friday October 17 (7pm BST) – Maiden Castle
Sheffield United v Liverpool – Saturday November 22 (6.30pm GMT) – venue TBC
