Wright is shortlisted for the September accolade alongside Chelsea trio Leo Black, Chizaram Ezenwata and Reggie Watson, plus Charlie Dinsdale (Sunderland), Tyrese Hall (Tottenham Hotspur), Cruz Ibeh (Middlesbrough) and Harvey Vincent (Leeds United).
