NewsWhen Gravenberch, Isak, Jacquet and Wirtz could play in pre-season
None of that quartet were involved in the Liverpool squad for Wednesday’s meeting with Wrexham in New York.
Gravenberch, Isak and Wirtz only began training last Sunday following their participation at the World Cup, while Jacquet was also absent for the preceding win over Sunderland in Nashville as a precaution.
But they are all on course to take to the pitch when the Reds wrap up their USA tour by facing Leeds United in Chicago this Sunday.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com ahead of the game against Wrexham, head coach Iraola said: “We are obviously missing Joe [Gomez] from the other day, he got injured.
“We have decided the ones that have just been training – Alex, Flo, Ryan, even Jeremy – to leave them for the next game.
“I think they will all be involved against Leeds.
“We have work to do today with more of the young players.”
