The Basque spoke at length on Saturday as he analysed the Reds squad’s progress during the past two weeks on pre-season tour in the USA.

Iraola reflected on the work he and his staff are doing with the players in the build-up to the new campaign, as well as his own familiarisation with the club and city.

And the boss also gave updates on fitness within the group and those who have yet to return to Liverpool duty after the World Cup.
