Wataru Endo reflected on a special feeling after scoring his first Liverpool goal against Toulouse on Thursday night.

The Reds secured an impressive 5-1 victory at Anfield in Group E, with Endo getting on the scoresheet for the first time since making the switch to Merseyside in the summer.

Goals from Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Mohamed Salah either side of the midfielder's precise header sealed the win on a night the No.3 says he will remember for a long time.

"I'm so happy to win this game and of course my first goal here too," Endo told Liverpoolfc.com post-match. "It was an amazing atmosphere when I scored.

"I'm so happy to score my first goal for Liverpool, especially at Anfield, it was an amazing experience for me. I just try to do my best in every game whether I start or not. I did and I'm just so happy to get the goal tonight."

On his strength in the air…

Everyone who knows me knows I have a good header. It is one of my strong points actually. It was a great ball from Trent, so thanks to Trent!

On the team having good momentum, despite playing a lot of games amid a busy schedule…

It's great. To win is always amazing and we have to win every game. It's a normal thing for Liverpool. It wasn't an easy game, but I'm so happy we have won three games in Europe and we've just got to keep it going.

On the special Anfield atmosphere…

The stadium is an amazing atmosphere. I don't feel so much pressure actually and I feel comfortable to play at home and I just try to enjoy every match. That works very well. I just keep trying and enjoy my football.

On how far he feels the team can go this season, especially in the Europa League…

Of course, we want to win all competitions, the Premier League, Europa League and the cup tournaments. But we have to make sure in every game we try to win, and we will see at the end of the season.
