Reaction'This was a step forward' - Dominik Szoboszlai on Arsenal draw

Arne Slot's side earned a point at Emirates Stadium in the Premier League and moved on to 10 games unbeaten across all competitions.

Conor Bradley went closest to breaking the deadlock on the night as he struck the crossbar with a lobbed effort in the first half.

"We faced an unbelievable team," Szoboszlai reflected to Sky Sports post-match. "But I think we showed again today why we became champions last season.

"Now this was a step forward I think after the recent weeks. We showed again that even against a team that is top of the table we can compete and we take it with us for the next weeks and we move on."

On whether the first half was about 'fight' and 'resilience'...

I think it's always about fight, to be honest, because in the Premier League you have to fight to get results. I think today each of us... everybody showed we are able to do it. From now on nobody can say we are not [fighting] in the team. We have to keep on going and work as hard every week as we did today.

On the second-half performance and being in more control...

I think in the first half we also had a couple of chances and also we managed to keep the ball a couple of times. But, of course, it's not easy to play here against such a great team. I think none of the teams like to run against the ball in the Premier League, especially when two teams play with such a big quality.

In the first half we tried to keep the ball as much as we could and in the second half the same. I think in the second half it was a little bit more than the first half. We hardly created any [clear] chances, but I think if I had a better day then I have a couple of better shots.

On his efforts at goal during the second half...

It looks like I still have to practise [free-kicks] even more! They defended well and we take the one point.
