NewsVirgil van Dijk presented with 2024 FIFPRO World11 award

In December, the Liverpool captain was named in the annual men’s World11 - which was voted for by more than 21,000 professional players around the world - for the fourth time in his career.

The Netherlands international had also been included in the team in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

This week, representatives from FIFPRO and the PFA visited the Reds’ base in Kirkby to hand over Van Dijk’s commemorative trophy.
