See our photos from Liverpool’s recovery session on Thursday as focus turned to Saturday’s Merseyside derby at Anfield.

Just hours after clinching a dramatic Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid, the Reds squad were back at the AXA Training Centre.

Warming down from their European exploits and beginning to build towards the visit of Everton in the Premier League, our photographer was alongside Arne Slot’s men for the workout – which was partly undertaken on equipment provided by Peloton, the club’s digital fitness partner.
