AcademyU21s match report: Late Keyrol Figueroa brace earns Liverpool win at Norwich
Liverpool U21s made a winning start to 2026 as a goal in the fifth minute of added time from substitute Keyrol Figueroa - his second of the contest - earned a 3-2 result at Norwich City.
It was a late turnaround for the Reds at Avant Training Centre on Friday afternoon to claim three points from their first Premier League 2 outing of the year.
They fell behind to an Elliot Myles strike after 20 minutes, though restored parity quickly through Amara Nallo from close range to enter the break level.
Botan Ameen once again put the hosts in front four minutes after the half-time interval.
But back came Rob Page's side in decisive fashion.
Figueroa stepped off the bench and found the net following a corner ball, evening up the match a second time with just eight minutes remaining.
It was to get better for the visitors, too, as Figueroa went on to head home his second and Liverpool's winner in the 95th minute.
