AcademyU21s match report: Bradshaw scores and Chambers returns in friendly with Nice

The 17-year-old netted midway through the second half of the encounter at the AXA Training Centre to halve the deficit for Rob Page's side.

Rio Ngumoha played the opening hour for the hosts, while full-back Luke Chambers made his return from long-term injury with a cameo off the bench.

Ngumoha had a shot that was deflected onto the crossbar inside the opening five minutes and then went close with a curling effort a few moments later.

Keyrol Figueroa was unable to convert from two opportunities that came his way before the French visitors went ahead on the stroke of half-time.

Nice doubled their lead on the hour mark, though that two-goal cushion only lasted a matter of minutes as Bradshaw finished from close range after being set up by Figueroa.

Chambers looked sharp in his 30-minute outing, but he and his teammates were unable to find the leveller they pushed hard for.
