Pre-seasonU18s friendly: Liverpool 3-1 Swansea City
Keyrol Figueroa put the young Reds ahead shortly before the half-hour mark of Monday afternoon’s match with a clinical finish following great work down the left by Trent Kone-Doherty.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s team dominated the first half, with Kone-Doherty and Ranel Young prominent on the flanks and Cody Pennington hitting the post.
James McConnell’s deflected drive made it 2-0 before the break and Figueroa’s fine header increased the hosts’ advantage further with 57 minutes played, before Swansea registered a consolation goal late on.
