Rachel Furness has been nominated for FA Women's Championship Player of the Month for January.

Liverpool FC Women's No.10 has been recognised for her fine start to 2022, which included three goals from her trio of league outings during the month.

The Northern Ireland international faces competition from Elise Hughes (Charlton Athletic), Siobhan Wilson (Crystal Palace) and Maddy Cusack (Sheffield United).

Meanwhile, Leanne Kiernan's stunning first goal from her hat-trick away at Blackburn Rovers is in the running for the division's Goal of the Month prize.
