Benfica and PSG secured progress to the competition’s next phase via the knockout round play-offs this week, defeating AS Monaco and Brest respectively over two legs.
Having finished top of the league phase, the Reds’ seeding in the tournament bracket means they will be paired with one of those two clubs in Friday’s draw. FC Barcelona will meet the other.
The last-16 draw is scheduled to begin at 11am GMT on Friday (February 21).
Ties are set to be played on March 4/5 and March 11/12, with Liverpool away from home in the first leg and Anfield hosting the second leg.
