Tributes paid to Peter Robinson
Robinson was a trailblazing and much-admired administrator who served the club for 35 years from 1965 to 2000, encompassing managerial reigns from Bill Shankly to Gerard Houllier.
His behind-the-scenes work on modernising and improving all aspects of the Reds’ off-pitch operations was a huge contributing factor to the collection of 28 major trophies across his time at Anfield.
Hundreds of messages of condolence and appreciation have been posted via social media since his passing was announced, including from many who worked with Peter in some form.
