Trent Alexander-Arnold’s long-range finish against Newcastle United is up for Premier League Goal of the Month for December.

The right-back confirmed a 3-1 victory for Liverpool at Anfield with a thunderous strike into the top corner from around 25 yards out.

His brilliant effort is one of eight shortlisted as the best in the division last month, alongside goals by Bernardo Silva, Neal Maupay, Mason Mount, Lucas Moura, Demarai Gray, Alexandre Lacazette and Kevin De Bruyne.
