The Liverpool trio make up half of the six-man shortlist having played integral roles during a season in which the Reds played each of the 63 games available to them.
Jürgen Klopp’s side lifted the Emirates FA Cup and Carabao Cup while also finishing as runners-up in the Premier League and Champions League.
Now, three of the team have been confirmed as contenders for the prestigious PFA prize that was won by Salah in 2018 and Van Dijk the following year.
Mane, Salah and Van Dijk are joined on the shortlist by Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United).
The winner – decided by the votes of PFA members – will be announced at the 2022 PFA Awards, which will be held from 7pm BST on Thursday June 9.
