Thiago Alcantara has been nominated for Champions League Player of the Week.

The midfielder produced a Player of the Match display to help Liverpool beat Villarreal 2-0 at Anfield on Wednesday in the first leg of their semi-final tie.

Thiago is up against Juan Foyth (Villarreal), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) and Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) for the prize.
