Sam Kerr makes her Liverpool debut in this evening’s Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The loan signing from Bayern Munich is named in Matt Beard’s starting XI at St Helens Stadium as the Reds play their first match of 2025.

Fellow new loanee Julia Bartel is on the bench, with Marie Höbinger also included as a substitute for the 7pm GMT kick-off after returning from injury.

Liverpool: Micah, Parry, Fisk, Silcock, Evans, Hinds, Nagano, Kerr, Holland, Smith, Kapocs.
