Diogo Jota’s 95th-minute winner saw Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-3 in a thrilling Premier League clash at Anfield.
The Portugal forward struck soon after Richarlison had netted in stoppage time to bring the visitors level in a game during which they trailed 3-0 after just 15 minutes.

Ninety-nine seconds.
That was the time difference between Richarlison bringing Tottenham level deep into stoppage time and Jota finally settling the game in Liverpool’s favour in the 95th minute.
Three points appeared inevitable for the Reds following a whirlwind start that saw them surge into a three-goal lead inside the opening quarter of an hour.
Tottenham, though, clawed their way back into the contest through Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, and thought they had claimed an unlikely point through substitute Richarlison.
Jota had other ideas, however, as he collected a loose Lucas Moura pass and finished unerringly at the Kop end to make it four Premier League wins on the spin for his team.

Long-awaited joy for Lucho
Diaz had waited nearly seven months to start a Premier League game again and, just five minutes in, he marked the occasion in fabulous fashion.
The Colombia international applied the finishing touch to a slick sequence involving Liverpool’s front three, as Cody Gakpo dug out a fine cross from the byline after being fed by Salah and Diaz darted to the near post before slamming home on the volley.
That goal came at the start of an impressive individual display, with the No.23 showcasing his brand of all-action attacking play before departing to rapturous applause just after the hour.
More Mo milestones
This was Salah’s 300th appearance for the club and, predictably, he celebrated in style.
The Egyptian sets records and achieves landmarks on a seemingly weekly basis and his 15th-minute penalty moved him above Robbie Fowler and into outright sixth in Liverpool’s all-time top scorers list with 184 goals.
He now sits just two adrift of Steven Gerrard in those standings and Sunday’s strike brought the No.11 level with Harry Chambers in fifth spot in the Reds’ leading league scorers list with 135 goals.
Salah has now netted in seven consecutive Anfield appearances and has 28 goals to his name this season.
A boss record
For a record-equalling sixth time, Jürgen Klopp brought on a substitute who went on to score a 90th-minute winner in a Premier League fixture.
Only one manager, Jose Mourinho, can match that as Jota joined Adam Lallana (versus Norwich City, January 2016), Christian Benteke (v Crystal Palace, March 2016), Divock Origi (v Everton, December 2018 and Wolverhampton Wanderers, December 2021) and Fabio Carvalho (v Newcastle United, August 2022).
Five in a row for Trent
Another game, another Trent Alexander-Arnold assist.
The trademark, first-time cross for Jones’ volley made it five consecutive Premier League matches in which the No.66 has set up a goal.
Alexander-Arnold also achieved that feat in August 2019 and he now stands alone as the only player in the competition’s history to do so twice.
And he finishes April having registered six assists – the most by a Liverpool player in a single month in the Premier League.
