NewsThe story behind the special-edition Burnley matchday programme cover

The club's All Red membership programme laid on a competition that gave all junior members under the age of 16 the chance to design the front cover of the programme.
With more than 120 entries, the chosen design was selected for the clash with the Clarets and Lily also won two hospitality tickets.
Lily's design focuses on men's captain Virgil van Dijk, and we caught up with her to find out more about her love for the Reds and the winning sketch.
Read the interview below...
Lily, how did you hear about the competition?
I am an All Red member so I received an email about the competition and thought, 'Why not?' I never thought that I would actually win!
Why did you choose to draw Van Dijk? Is he your favourite player?
I chose to draw Virgil van Dijk because he has always been mine and my mum's favourite player. I'm also a defender!
What was your reaction when you found out you'd won?
I was absolutely ecstatic! I think I might have screamed in the middle of dinner. I seriously couldn't believe it, it's such an incredible opportunity.
How excited are you for the Liverpool v Burnley match in hospitality, and who are you bringing?
I can't wait. I'm bringing my dad because he's the biggest Liverpool fan that I know! He's been supporting them since he was a kid in the 1980s. My mum and two brothers, Noah and Finn, are also going to the match but sitting somewhere else.
Is this your first time at Anfield? If not, what's been your favourite game?
I've been to two matches at Anfield before and it's a tough choice. But my favourite game was getting to see Liverpool FC Women's Merseyside derby from the Kop.
And lastly, how long did your drawing take?
The actual drawing took about two hours, but I could've easily spent another two searching for the perfect picture of Virgil and planning it out.
