Mohamed Salah can claim the Liverpool record for league goals scored against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The Egyptian has netted eight times for the Reds in his Premier League encounters versus Spurs – a tally also achieved by club greats Roger Hunt, Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.

Salah will be out to produce his ninth goal when Jürgen Klopp's men head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening. Read on for more facts and figures ahead of the fixture...

Liverpool are currently on a 19-game unbeaten run in all competitions and have scored 48 goals during this sequence.

Should the Reds win this game by a 3-1 scoreline, it will be the first time since February/March 1974 they have had five wins in a row by the same score. On that previous occasion they were all by 1-0.

Klopp's side have not conceded a goal after the 42nd minute in any game this season and are the only team not to concede a Premier League goal in the second half.

A third of Liverpool's goals this campaign (seven of 21) have been scored from the 76th minute onwards.

Seven of the last eight league wins by the Reds over Spurs have come by a one-goal margin.

A total of 182 goals have been scored in Premier League clashes between Liverpool and Tottenham, with only the Reds' games against Arsenal producing more (184).

Klopp has won 11 and lost just one of 18 meetings with Spurs in the league and cups, with the other six being drawn.

Trent Alexander-Arnold made his senior debut against Spurs in a League Cup tie at Anfield in October 2016, while Joel Matip’s league debut for Liverpool came at White Hart Lane in a 1-1 draw in August 2016.

Dominik Szoboszlai played twice against Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic in the Champions League group stage last season for RB Leipzig and was on the winning side both times.
