Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg has been ruled out of the upcoming U21 European Championship due to an injury.

The 21-year-old, who spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan with Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga, had been part of the Netherlands squad for the tournament in Georgia and Romania.

But an injury has forced Van den Berg to be replaced in the squad, reported the Dutch national team on Saturday.
