Ryan Gravenberch’s brilliant strike in the Merseyside derby has been shortlisted for the Premier League’s September Goal of the Month award.

The midfielder set Liverpool on their way to a 2-1 victory over Everton at Anfield with a fine first-time finish.

Moving forward into the area to meet Mohamed Salah’s pass, Gravenberch hooked the ball over goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and perfectly into the corner of the net.

That effort is one of eight nominated for the division’s latest Goal of the Month.

Fans can vote for Gravenberch to win here until 12pm BST on Monday (October 6).
