It was announced today that Fowler and Owen are part of a group of 15 ex-players who are in contention to be added this year.

The Premier League’s Hall of Fame was launched in 2021 to celebrate the division’s best players since its inception in 1992, and Steven Gerrard was one of the eight inaugural inductees.

Supporters can vote for Fowler and Owen to join Gerrard here.

Voting closes at 12pm BST on Monday April 8, with the two new inductees to be revealed on Tuesday April 23.
