The Liverpool Academy forward started for his country in Albania and played a little over an hour as their opponents went on to take all three points despite the Young Lions twice scoring an equaliser.
Alejandro Rodriguez provided both of England’s goals, with Ngumoha credited with an assist for the second, glancing on a header to his teammate, who dribbled in and converted.
England complete the group stage by facing Czechia on Monday (May 26) and will need to win and the other result in the section go their way if they are to qualify for the semi-finals.
