FeatureRevealed: Liverpool's most-selected Fantasy Premier League players

Fantasy Premier League is now live ahead of the 2026-27 season getting under way.

Users can log in to the game via the Premier League app or website to select your 15-man squad.

Ahead of the Gameweek 1 deadline at 6.30pm BST on Friday August 21, FPL managers can make unlimited changes to their teams.

Managers can own a maximum of three players from each of the 20 Premier League clubs.

Heading into the new season, here is a look at the three most-owned Liverpool players in FPL as things stand...

Dominik Szoboszlai (£7.0m)

Not only is Szoboszlai the most-owned Liverpool asset, but he is also the fourth-most-owned player in the game.

The midfielder is currently selected by more than 43 per cent of FPL managers. This is not surprising after an excellent FPL campaign during the 2025-26 season.

Szoboszlai registered 160 points last time out, courtesy of six goals, seven assists, nine clean sheets, 20 defensive contribution points and 21 bonus points.

Only Virgil van Dijk (£6.5m) registered more FPL points in the Reds squad than Szoboszlai throughout the last campaign.

During 2025-26, Szoboszlai created 78 chances, a tally only bettered by one midfielder across the entire game.

So far in pre-season the Hungary international has already registered two assists and scored a goal. At £7.0m he offers incredible value for money due to his excellent route to points.

The midfielder has set-piece responsibility, taking 104 corners in the league last season as well as 38 free-kicks. He also registered 339 defensive contributions, making returning defensive contribution points likely.

Virgil van Dijk (£6.5m)

The Liverpool captain is currently found in more than 16 per cent of FPL teams, with managers hoping for a repeat of his points-scoring form from last season.

Van Dijk registered 175 points last time out, the most across the Liverpool squad and the third-most across all the defenders in the game.

Like Szoboszlai, Van Dijk was exceptional for defensive contributions last season, making 351. This returned him 28 defensive contribution points.

The No.4 averaged 4.6 points per start last season. Most of these came from his defensive work, but he also offers FPL managers an attacking threat, especially from set-pieces.

Van Dijk had 23 headed attempts on goal last season and his 12 big chances were more than any other defender.

He also scored six goals, which was the most across all of the league's defenders.

Florian Wirtz (£7.5m)

The Liverpool midfielder is currently chosen in 14.5 per cent of FPL teams. He is just ahead of forward Alexander Isak (£9.0m), who is found in 13.6 per cent of teams.

Wirtz scored five goals, registered four assists, picked up 10 clean sheet points, two defensive contribution points and 17 bonus points on his way to 125 points from his first Premier League season.

Since returning from the World Cup, Wirtz has registered two goals in 105 minutes of pre-season football.

This summer, new head coach Andoni Iraola has spoken about playing Wirtz behind the striker, which has encouraged many FPL managers to invest in the midfielder.

With so many attractive picks from Liverpool this season, it will be difficult for FPL managers to pick which three to invest in.
