Liverpool U18s were beaten 4-2 at Middlesbrough in Premier League North action on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts struck twice through Ajay Matthews while Aidan James Bridge and Jack Patterson also got on the scoresheet.

Trent Kone-Doherty and Jayden Danns found the back of the net for the Reds – with the latter converting a penalty kick – before Middlesbrough were reduced to 10 men in added time at the end of the game.
