During the summer period, Liverpool FC's Red Neighbours team will host free half-term breakfast clubs to help support local families.

Throughout the next six weeks, the club’s community programme will be inviting hundreds of young people from local schools within the L4, L5, L6 and Kirkby areas to Anfield to enjoy a nutritious breakfast along with their families.

Each day, families from the local community can enjoy a range of activities, raffles and the opportunity to win exciting prizes. This year’s clubs will be held in Anfield’s Shankly Lounge and will include a special visit from the club’s official mascot, Mighty Red, and Margaret Aspinall.

Last season, more than 8,300 people benefited from Red Neighbours’ breakfast clubs at Anfield and breakfast-clubs-to-you deliveries.

Forbes Duff, Red Neighbours’ senior manager, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming local families to Anfield this summer to enjoy breakfast and a host of fun activities together.

“It’s important that we support local people during what is a difficult time for many, especially with the current cost of living crisis.”
