CommunityRed Neighbours' Easter Brunch Club returns
Liverpool FC welcomed 300 local guests to Anfield over Easter for a free delicious and nutritious breakfast, including free entry to the LFC Museum.
Brunch Club is Red Neighbours’ new offering in place of its usual Breakfast Club delivery, including a brunch-style menu of hot and cold breakfasts, as well as pastries, tea, coffee and juice.
The club’s community programme invited local schools it works with within the L4, L5, L6 and Kirkby areas, plus regular Red Neighbours participants and their grandchildren, to attend its half-term breakfast clubs.
The guests were greeted by club mascot Mighty Red, followed by a host of fun activities, including a game of bingo and an egg colouring competition with prizes galore. Guests each took home an Easter egg and had the opportunity to visit the LFC Museum before they left.
Jen Dargan, Red Neighbours’ senior coordinator, said: “It’s truly heartwarming to be able to come together to help tackle food poverty but also to share and create some lasting memories.”
