The Reds’ first of two games against the Serie A club on Sunday was held behind closed doors, which will be followed by an encounter at Anfield.

Match No.1 ended in stalemate, with the likes of Federico Chiesa, Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Victor Munoz and Kostas Tsimikas – who was captain – involved.
