Liverpool were back at the AXA Training Centre on Monday morning as preparations began for the midweek visit to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League.

The Reds rounded out an impressive week of victories with a 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday afternoon to move nine points clear at the top of the standings.

Arne Slot's side have now swiftly turned their attention to facing Newcastle at St. James' Park on Wednesday evening (7.30pm GMT kick-off).
