Alisson Becker, Arne Slot and Virgil van Dijk were part of Liverpool’s representation at the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards ceremony on Monday.

Following their Premier League title triumph last season, the Reds were shortlisted for Men’s Club of the Year and Slot nominated for Men’s Coach of the Year at the event in Paris.

Attacking talisman Mohamed Salah finished fourth in the overall men’s Ballon d’Or ranking, with teammates Alexis Mac Allister, Van Dijk and Florian Wirtz also part of the top 30 candidates.

Alisson, meanwhile, was runner-up for the men’s Yachine Trophy for goalkeepers.
