After a thrilling nine years in charge of the club – during which multiple major honours, including the Premier League and Champions League, were lifted – Klopp’s reign concluded with the meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A special mosaic was formed across three stands inside the stadium before kick-off, while the manager, his departing staff and fans shared in emotional goodbyes as a guard of honour, presentations and tributes followed the final whistle.
