Liverpool FC Women took a first look at Melwood, their new permanent elite training facility, on Thursday evening.

As the 2023-24 Barclays Women's Super League season edges closer, Matt Beard and his squad took a tour of the West Derby complex, which will now be their base on a day-to-day basis and house the Reds' Category 1 Professional Game Academy.

Melwood will also be used for community outreach facilities for LFC Foundation programmes and continue to offer education to young people via the Fowler Education and Football Academy.
