Reaction'Passion, relief' - Fabinho details emotions after last-gasp winner v Newcastle
Fabinho has explained the wide range of emotions the Liverpool squad felt in the seconds after the dramatic winner had been scored against Newcastle United.
Fabio Carvalho scored in the eighth minute of injury time on Wednesday evening to give the Reds a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Anfield.
Carvalho's decisive effort in the aftermath of a corner sparked wild scenes on the pitch and in the stands as L4 hosted another memorable night.
Detailing his reaction to the Carvalho goal, Fabinho told Liverpoolfc.com post-match: "We have some emotions when Fabio scored the second goal – passion, relief.
"I think in the end we deserved this goal. We pushed until the end and [it's] another really important three points."

The Reds went 1-0 down towards the end of the first half in the Premier League fixture through debutant Alexander Isak's finish.
But the hosts finally punctured Newcastle's rearguard on the hour mark courtesy of Roberto Firmino, before the winner eventually came right at the end.
Fabinho continued: "We keep trying, we keep pushing. I don't know if we played really good football but in the end we just tried to put the ball in the box and try to score a goal.
"It's important to have some players like Millie because he was always pushing us like, 'Come on, boys, until the end, keep pushing. We need to believe.'
"We kept trying and in the end I think our team was tired but we have to push to the end.
"I didn't know if the game would end before the corner or not but we believed until the end and fought. I think we deserved this goal."

The win gives Jürgen Klopp's side another welcome boost as they now turn their attention towards a Merseyside derby at Everton on Saturday lunchtime.
"Second win in a row is really important after a really good game against Bournemouth," Fabinho finished.
"But we knew we had to win this game against Newcastle. We played at home, we have to always try to play good football with intensity, so I think we did this.
"It's never easy when the opponent scores first in the game but the team showed a really good reaction, really good organisation as well.
"We have to try to recover because [on] Saturday we have another really important game against Everton."
