"The midfield has been excellent again. It is Vitinha who really pulls the strings there, even if his form has dipped a little lately. Then there are the four world-class forwards that Luis Enrique relies on: Dembele, Doue, Barcola and Kvaratskhelia. None of those players need any introduction.
"In terms of playing style, Luis Enrique still sets his side out in a 4-3-3 but it is an extremely fluid side, so the formation doesn't have too much bearing. You can just as easily see Kvaratskhelia dropping into left-back as you can Nuno Mendes occupying the No.9 role.
"There is a feeling of confidence. This young side now have reference points and, having got the monkey off their back last season, there is no longer a fear going into these crucial games. That is what makes PSG more dangerous than last year in many regards."
Team news
Barcola has missed PSG's past two matches due to an ankle sprain, while Fabian Ruiz has been sidelined since January with a knee issue.
Kvaratskhelia and Mendes would miss the second leg at Anfield if they receive a yellow card in this fixture.
