Here is all you need to know about Crystal Palace before their visit to Anfield on Saturday.

Season so far

Oliver Glasner's side drew 0-0 at home to West Ham United at the start of the week and entered this round of fixtures sitting 13th in the Premier League standings.

They are currently enjoying a four-match unbeaten run in the division, beating Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United within that streak.

Their UEFA Conference League semi-final tie with Shakhtar Donetsk gets under way next Thursday.

Key players

Ismaila Sarr, who has scored seven times against Liverpool in his career, is Palace's leading marksman so far this season on 17 goals in all competitions.

Trailing the Senegalese attacker by four is Jean-Philippe Mateta, with Yeremy Pino third in the ranking on five.

Adam Wharton leads the team for assists with seven, one more than fellow midfielder Jefferson Lerma.

Dean Henderson has registered 11 clean sheets in the 2025-26 Premier League – third-most in the division.

Central defender Maxence Lacroix has appeared in 47 of their 51 matches in the term up to this point.

Previous meetings

This will be the clubs' fourth and final match-up in the season.

Palace have been the winners in the preceding three, starting in August with a penalty shootout success in the FA Community Shield at Wembley.

They won the reverse fixture in the Premier League 2-1, thanks to Eddie Nketiah's 97th-minute goal at Selhurst Park.

The most recent game was October's Carabao Cup fourth-round tie at Anfield, which Glasner's men left as 3-0 victors.

Team news

Wharton is expected to be available after missing the West Ham game, though the fitness of former Red Nathaniel Clyne is being monitored.

Nketiah and Evann Guessand remain sidelined.

What they said

Glasner, Palace head coach

"Not just being unbeaten, I think the performances are more consistent. We are doing really well in defending again. This is what we mention so often – it is our foundation. We know that we are able to create chances and score goals.

"This is what gives us confidence – that we know it's not too easy to play against us and that we are always able to create our chances and score goals. In the way we are playing, we don't change it massively. We always do some adjustments [and] we have to do the same against Liverpool. We have to make slight adjustments compared to when we played West Ham."

Stats

  • The last team to beat Liverpool twice at Anfield in the same season was Arsenal in 2006-07.

  • Palace are looking to complete the league double over the Reds for just the third time, after 1991-92 and 2014-15.

  • The Eagles have kept 12 clean sheets in the Premier League this season; only in 1994-95 have they ever kept more in a single campaign in the competition (15).

  • Sarr has scored in each of his last four appearances against Liverpool in all competitions (five goals).
