
NewsOlivia Smith named Canada Women's Young Player of the Year

The Liverpool FC Women forward was today announced as the winner of the prize by her nation's football governing body.
Smith, who joined the Reds from Sporting CP in the summer, made nine appearances for Canada's senior national team throughout 2024, scoring three goals and recording three assists.
The 20-year-old also netted twice as Canada reached the last 16 of the U20 Women's World Cup.
Smith has enjoyed an excellent start to her Liverpool career and was voted Standard Chartered Player of the Month by supporters in both September and October.
