VideoNH Foods celebrates the joy of eating with Alisson, Fabinho and Firmino
The latest video focuses on Brazil’s diverse cuisine and sees the players sample some traditional dishes from their home cities.
The dishes include Acaraje, a bean and onion fritter that is a street favourite in Firmino’s home city of Maceio, Arroz Carreteiro, a traditional meat and rice dish from Alisson’s home city of Novo Hamburgo, and Maria-Mole, a popular sweet coconut marshmallow dessert from Fabinho’s home city of Campinas.
While tucking into the delicacies, the players discuss the importance of eating together with friends and family, as well as the comfort and fond memories of home that food can evoke.
Japan-based food manufacturer NH Foods is a long-standing supporter of the club’s local food initiatives through LFC’s community programme, Red Neighbours.
Since becoming an official partner in 2019, NH Foods has supported local people in need by donating supplies of food to foodbanks and food hampers, as well as purchasing a new delivery van and a fridge and freezer for a community pantry.
