The Egyptian became the first African player to hit 50 strikes in the Champions League by bending in a beautiful finish from the edge of the box at Anfield.

It claimed the most votes in a poll of supporters on Liverpoolfc.com, just ahead of Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick in front of the Kop against Tottenham Hotspur.

Szoboszlai also claimed third place in the results for the well-worked opener in the first half of the 4-0 victory over Galatasaray.

An outside-of-the-boot hit from Salah versus Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ceri Holland's solo effort for Liverpool FC Women at Everton finished fourth and fifth respectively.
