Mohamed Salah was withdrawn towards the end of the first half in Egypt's draw with Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday night.

The forward was substituted in the 45th minute of the Group B encounter with an apparent injury.

Ghana then took the lead moments later through Mohammed Kudus but were pegged back by Omar Marmoush's 69th-minute finish.

Kudus struck again to quickly put Ghana back in front, though Mostafa Mohamed was on target for Egypt to make it 2-2.

The result currently leaves Egypt second in Group B with two points ahead of their third and final fixture against Cape Verde on Monday.
