NewsMohamed Salah wins Standard Chartered Player of the Month for November
Mohamed Salah has been voted Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month for November.
The Egyptian claims the prize for the third month in a row after topping a fan poll on Liverpoolfc.com.
Salah scored three times and produced an assist in his six appearances during the period to see him retain the trophy ahead of teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz.
Collecting the award at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, he told Liverpoolfc.com: "It's good to win this award, always. The most important thing is winning games and scoring goals for the team, for sure. That's the most important thing."
Salah netted twice in the 3-0 victory over Brentford at Anfield in the Premier League and then played the decisive pass to set up Alexander-Arnold's equaliser in the draw away at Manchester City.
He rounded off the month with a goal from the penalty spot in the 4-0 win against LASK to help secure qualification to the Europa League Round of 16, taking his tally for the club to 199 in the process.
Asked for his favourite moment of November, the No.11 said: "Probably the City one because we were down 1-0 and we managed to score one goal and equalise the game, so I think I would say this one.
"Scoring goals also is good but in that month it could be that assist for Trent."
The Reds' form has continued into December, with Jürgen Klopp's side delivering three consecutive Premier League victories.
Salah himself, meanwhile, clinched the milestone of 200 goals for the club in all competitions when he struck at Crystal Palace last weekend – only the fifth player to achieve that feat at LFC.
"It's great to score 200 goals for such a big club. I'm very happy about it," he said. "We had a little celebration after the game with the team and also with my family. Very pleased about it."
Salah added: "I've said before we can do something special [this season], we just need to believe and just train hard and we'll see what's going to happen. We don't have to put too much pressure on ourselves, we just need to play the games and keep winning.
"We have to take one game at a time, [this week] we have to focus on the Europa League first and after that we'll have time to think about [Manchester] United. We have to take one game at a time."
