The Liverpool No.11 receives the award for the fifth time in his career having scored five goals in the Reds’ three top-flight fixtures during October.

Salah netted both goals in the 2-2 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion and then delivered another double in the 2-0 Merseyside derby win at Anfield.

The Egyptian was also on target as Nottingham Forest were beaten 3-0, and his stellar form saw him see off all competition to take the division’s Player of the Month prize.
